Title: Associate Event Director

How long you have been at HumanX: Since June 2024

What’s your background, and what brought you to HumanX?

I’ve spent my whole career in events - starting out at a lobbying association in DC, then jumping into the tech events scene in Boston, and now landing where it feels like the natural next step: AI events (because it’s the future, get it?). That path is what brought me to HumanX (and also incredibly helpful bosses along the way!), where I get to help build an event that sits right at the center of this exciting moment.

How would you describe HumanX in 3 words?

Innovative. Human-centered. Transformative.

What’s been your favorite HumanX moment so far?

For me, the magic is in watching the event come to life. After months of staring at renderings and plans, seeing an empty space transform into something cool, edgy, comfortable, and fun in just a few days is the best feeling. Getting to taste the menus I helped curate, walking the floor and finally meeting sponsors face-to-face, and experiencing the vision turn into reality - it’s those moments that make all the planning worth it.

What’s one tool or habit that helps you stay on top of your game, either personally or professionally?

Anyone who works with me knows I’m a spreadsheet superfan. They might feel a little old-school, but nothing keeps me more organized than a good tracker, budget, or to-do list. Extra points for color coding.

What’s your favorite productivity hack at work?

Lately I’ve joined the Walking Pad movement. Once I got past the fear of flying off while typing an email, I realized it actually boosts my focus and productivity. Plus, it gets me moving instead of defaulting to my usual couch-potato ways—a total win-win.

If you could teleport anywhere for lunch, where are you going?

Depending on the weather, I would transport to Japan for either sushi (summer) or a bowl of piping hot ramen (fall/winter). I live in New England so it is ramen weather 64% of the time.
