Name: Brian Curran

How long you have been at HumanX: In one form or another since the beginning.

What’s your background, and what brought you to HumanX?

Sport and current affairs radio to begin with then a good long stint at a great events company called Web Summit. I saw a lot of trends come and go over a decade in the tech space and the only thing in all that time I thought was truly game-changing was AI. So when the opportunity came along, I felt it was a chance to be right at the forefront in this space.

What are you most excited about for this year’s HumanX event?

Backing up an incredible year one event with an even better year two. 

What’s one session, speaker, or track you’re personally looking forward to—and why?

I am most looking forward to seeing what all the speakers at the event this year do with the coverage of their sessions post-event. We have something special planned there.

How has AI changed the way you work?

I genuinely believe five years ago we wouldn’t have been able to pull off HumanX with our resources. We are a lean team and thanks to all our AI automations tasks that took tens of hours have been cut in half. So we can compete and beat those with multiples of our personnel

What’s one tool or habit that helps you stay on top of your game, either personally or professionally?

Writing down a to-do list and ticking things off as I go along. Old school but it works very well for me.

What’s one thing that always makes your day better?

Chessy answer but my kids. They are my favourite people in the world.

What’s one playlist or podcast that gets you through the day?

Indo Sport. Just a great listen.
