Meet the Team: Alina
Partnerships Lead at HumanX
Name: Alina Zöller
Job Title: Partnerships Lead
How long you have been at HumanX: since May 2024
What’s your background, and what brought you to HumanX?
I grew up in Germany and first caught the startup bug while interning at a travel tech startup in Berlin and then at a VC in Amsterdam. While completing my master’s at USC, I launched my own startup, a restaurant and meal-finder app for people with dietary restrictions. That experience taught me just how much grit and imagination it takes to build something from scratch. From there, I dove into venture capital and corporate innovation in Silicon Valley, working with both early-stage startups and global companies to help them grow and scale - and then joined HumanX last spring to build out our partnership function and help launch our very first flagship event - to not only ride but help shape the wave of AI with a small but super ambitious team!
How would you describe HumanX in 3 words?
Visionary. Impactful. One-of-a-kind!
What’s been your favorite HumanX moment so far?
There are two! First, since we’re a fully remote company, meeting the entire team for the first time in Vegas the day before HumanX 2025. And also, watching our opening event that Sunday night from the back of the crowd - seeing everything we had worked so hard on come alive in real life was very special.
How has AI changed the way you work?
It helps me spend more time on what actually matters. Tools like Read.ai, who we actually partnered with for HumanX 2025, have been a game changer for note-taking during calls and follow-ups so I can actually listen during meetings. That said, I need to have a chat with whoever designed the feature that picks the meeting recap screenshot of the videocall… it never picks my good side.
What’s one thing that always makes your day better?
A morning walk
If you could teleport anywhere for lunch, where are you going?
Ichiran Ramen in Tokyo!
