Meet the Team: Stefan
Co-founder & CEO of HumanX
Name: Stefan Weitz
Title: Co-founder & CEO
How long you have been at HumanX: Since the beginning!
What’s your background, and what brought you to HumanX?
I’ve spent my career at the intersection of tech, storytelling, and impact—from launching Bing at Microsoft to helping create and scale startups as an operator, investor, and advisor. I’ve also worked in Private Equity and currently run a VC fund - so HumanX was a natural next step: bringing together builders, leaders, financiers, and skeptics to ensure we build systems that are good for the world and good for the bottom line.
How would you describe HumanX in 3 words?
Strategic. Candid. Catalytic.
How has AI changed the way you work?
I’ve been in AI for 20 years, so it was never a novelty—but it’s definitely leveled up. These days, it’s like having perfect precision and recall augmented with the best (although all too agreeable) thought partner. I don’t have to forget anything. I can crank through 10x the work in the same time—strategy, messaging, modeling, prep. It’s less “assistant” and more cognitive extension. That said, I still fact-check like a human. Because I am one.
What’s one thing that always makes your day better?
I’ll give you three - a gallon of water, a really sharp meme that nails the absurdity of our AI-overlord moment, and watching golden retriever videos.
If you could teleport anywhere for lunch, where are you going?
Darn near any street taco stand in Mexico City. Or to Barilla Bay Oyster farm in Hobart.
What’s one playlist or podcast that gets you through the day?
Discover Weekly on Spotify. I feel like I’ve tuned it so well for the past 15 years that it both surprises me and also doesn't distract me. Also a big fan of Anthony Scaramucci’s YouTube channel these days. And Robinson Erhardt.
