Clare Duffy is a tech writer for CNN Business and host of CNN Podcasts' “Terms of Service with Clare Duffy.” She covers social media, artificial intelligence and the strategies of Big Tech companies — as well as how technology affects our daily lives. Her reporting has won awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Newswomen’s Club of New York. Duffy is a graduate of the University of Portland and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. She grew up in San Luis Obispo, Calif. and is currently based in New York.
