Nick leads Tools for Humanity's public policy work as Chief Policy Officer, where he spearheads the company’s engagement with global regulators, policymakers, and civil society to shape public policy. Previously Vice President of Global Affairs at X (formerly Twitter), he brings more than fourteen years of experience in navigating complex policy environments and shaping global regulation of cutting-edge technologies. Prior to joining X, Nick led a British privacy-focussed civil society group. His expertise in privacy, geopolitics and technology policy will be instrumental in TFH’s mission to scale the infrastructure and tools needed for the coming age of AI.
A law graduate of the University of Durham, Nick is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, an internationally published photographer and sits on the board of BBC Media Action.
