David is the editorial director of research for MIT Sloan Management Review. He has written extensively on issues at the intersection of business and technology at MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School. His most recent award-winning book, Workforce Ecosystems: Reaching Strategic Goals with People, Partners, and Technology, explores the economic, organizational, and leadership implications of workforces that cut across firm boundaries.

A keynote speaker at many universities and industry conferences, David has authored or co-authored more than 100 journal articles, book chapters, case studies, research reports, and books.
